About
Long Pond Ceramics was founded around a single idea: everything deserves a pedestal.
Whether holding fruit on a dining table, flowers in a living room, or keys by the front door, each piece is designed to elevate the objects we live with every day.
Founded by Cori Galpern, the work is shaped by a lifelong connection to housewares and design. Her grandfather founded Mr. Pottery, and her family continued the business in New York and Florida, working closely with heritage brands including Royal Doulton and Arabia Finland.
Before founding Long Pond Ceramics, Cori spent more than twenty years in luxury fashion communications. That experience fostered a deep appreciation for design, craftsmanship, storytelling, and presentation—sensibilities that continue to inform the work today.
In 2021, Cori began working in clay and developed what would become Long Pond Ceramics. Each piece is individually thrown, trimmed, and finished by hand, embracing subtle variation and restraint.
Designed to be used, lived with, and collected over time.
